Hello. My name is David. I am an Air Force veteran originally from Mount Airy, North Carolina (the hometown of Andy Griffith). My wife and I have two beautiful and wonderfully talented daughters. We are dog lovers and adopt our fur babies from local rescue shelters (Mutts make the best pets).
As a realtor, I am passionate about providing Extraordinary Service to every client, especially to veterans and their families. During my 21-year military career, I experienced the unique challenges frequent moves have on military families and the decisions of whether to buy or sell a home.
I am a strong advocate of giving back to the local community. I have volunteered various other non-profit organizations. At JBGoodwin, our businerss model is built on "Helping People". This commitment of community service is one of the many reasons why I am proud to be a JBGoodwin realtor.
I consider myself a life-long learner. I am a dual certified HR professional and adult educator. After my military career, I taught HR and Business courses for 12 years for two different universities. I recently completed my Master’s in Education at the University of Texas-San Antonio (UTSA). I enjoy a variety of interests which include history, museums, college basketball (especially “March Madness”), movies, sporting events (GO SPURS GO), home rehab shows, and Pork BBQ,
I recently started a new hobby - gardening. I am learning about various flowers, soil types, and plant care. This knowledge is also useful in educating homeowners about curb appeal options. Curb appeal adds value to a home and creates a visually pleasing landscape which helps the home to sell faster.
My goal is to assist clients in every way possible to reduce the stress in the sale or purchase of a home. Please take a moment to read the testimonials and let me know how I can be of service to you. Thank you for your time. I look forward to earning your trust.
